Ten years have passed since Samsonite brought the Cosmolite<\/strong> collection on the market, an iconic collection with unique characteristics: light, with an aesthetically strong design and made of a new and inventive material. Cosmolite from the beginning on came up with all requirements to become the queen of the brand’s collections.<\/p>\n

\"SamsoniteYear by year the collection is proposed in different dimensions and color variations, while always maintaining its so modern characteristics, that today it still makes part of the most excellent models of luggage. The secret of success is the material Curv\u00ae<\/strong>, with patent in Europe. It is made of polypropylene worked in a way to get the form of small bands, that are braided with each other and so form an extremely resistant and flexible but especially light product.<\/p>\n

The collection won the Red Dot Award in 2010, an award lend to commercial products that are characterized not only by a unique, but also functional design: in this case the inventive, conch-shaped design of Cosmolite was developed by Eric Sijmons, Senior Design Director of Samsonite, who donated this particular and extremely recognizable shade to the collection.<\/p>\n
