The journey starts from the tanning and painting of hides and leather, which is done following circular gestures repeated over and over throughout the surface, then hung out to dry in special supports, where stands out neutral tones as leather brown, black and dark brown, up to stronger colors as blue, red and yellow, the stars of the summer season.

Another fundamental step is the creation of the model, first of all drawn on a paper pattern and then graven in the leather with a special knife. The criteria of the design itself are based on fashion trends merged with the style of the brand, which likes to combine functionality and class with a British taste that is in perfect match with the hide leather.

After cutting  materials, the individual pieces are assembled and finished with special sewing machines suitable for hard layers: once done the main handbag structure, the focus is on details and finishings, such as brass buckles and belts, inner liners or loops and holes.

The feedback from journalists was particularly enthusiastic, as fashion experts it has been very exciting to see live the construction of women’s bags in such detail. From the brief interviews that followed, also emerged little details and tips that have confirmed the trend of the company to create products perfect in every occasion.

According to reporters opinion, handbags must have adjustable shoulder straps in order to change the portability, safe and practice closures, inner compartments for storing what is needed of each day (from lipstick to documents), neutral colors and forms for the day, easy to match with any outfit and occasion, but with that little extra detail for those who like to be noticed.

The inevitable quote regards backpacks, spearhead even of the women’s collections, available in leather models and in combinations with synthetic materials for more casual models: as shown during the fashion catwalks, backpacks are a real must have, and The Bridge has declined its concept and shape according to its own style, creating unique patterns.
