Sneakers: passion for men and women
Evergreen accessories in every men’s and women’s wardrobe are the sneakers: this comfortable and practical sports shoes can be worn not only in sportive occasions, but also during the free time.
Already the first tendencies announce that the season spring/summer ’18 will be the sneakers’ seasons, but also the autumn/winter collections proposed a large assortment, suitable to every occasion: from the most sophisticated models to the ultra sportive ones, we love sneakers especially for their diversity. They propose typologies of models that can even be worn at work or in case of the women also in combination with a short dress or a casual skirt.
The term “sneakers” descend from the Britain verb “to sneak” (a term that dates back in 1500) and means “to walk silently”: a definition, that results particularly suitable to this typology of footwear that’s main characteristic is, independent from the used material, the always present rubber sole.
Normally designed as unisex, the sneakers can also be declined by a wide variety of models for women and men, perhaps distincted by the use of different details or higher soles. One of the brands that love to distinguish this type of footwear is Geox: for women Geox offers sneakers enriched by sparkling details like rivets, strass or varnish inserts, while for the men the keyword is lightness. The brand offers sneakers in light and resistant materials like the famous Nebula. Same thing counts for Stonefly, that for the women concentrates on the sole’s height and offers models with wedge heels between 4 and 6 cm.
Another element to distinguish the sneakers is the closure and the mode how to pull them on: the sneakers can be equipped with velcro, standard laces, elastic laces and also zip, in case of the models with a higher ankle: Nero Giardini is an example for this genre, able to try many different types of closure. Same thing for the materials, with which the different brands love to experiment, and so the variety reaches from leather to fabric, with precious details in python or sparkling varnish.
