The vintage inspiration of this season is particularly strong and appears in every brand‘s summer collections, also Piquadro doesn‘t escape this tendency and offers for the summer the brand new Blade collection, with completely different characteristics than those of models from other collections during the SS18.

First characteristic, that meets the eye while looking at the Blade collection with Piquadro backpacks is the design, that is clearly inspired by the past, while never forgetting about the future with a modern equipment, but about this we will talk later. The Piquadro backpacks from Blade represent the typical retro elements, like the flap on the top that can be rolled in and fixed with a buckle, or the front flap with double closure. Also the used materials and colors follow an eco vintage style: the water resistant, robust and extra light fabric has a particular texture, that emphasizes the light-dark effect of the offered color variations like yellow, red but also black and grey. To complete the color details, there are the inserts of calf leather in contrast colors, which emphasize even more the used buckles and outer straps.

The Blade collection, aside of the backpacks, offers also models, that are ready to come back as protagonists on the catwalks of the coming seasons: we are talking about the wrist bags and slingbags, two accessories that are able to revolutionize the portability of the men’s shoulder bags, while maintaining the smaller dimensions and the possibility to carry around all our small daily technological accessories.

Apropos technology: the accessories from Piquadro of the Blade collection offer the highest level of protection for the technological accessories for our work, because they are equipped with padded anti-theft compartments for portable computers and padded slots for all different typologies of tablets and smartphones. Despite of the all the compartments inside, the models result particularly light thanks to the used materials. This characteristic fits perfect to the casual and dynamic inspiration of the models.
